The delicate bitterness of this green tea, from organic farming and fair trade, is both softened by the suave aroma of lime and enhanced by the spicy note of ginger. Its copper-colored infusion is aromatic with a lovely vegetal note.
This green tea from Ceylon comes from the Uva region in Sri Lanka, an area of medium altitude affected by dry winds. It is harvested by fine picking: only the bud, which concentrates the tea components (tannins, theine, and aromatic compounds), and the first two leaves are collected.

The Small Organic Farmer Association (SOFA) Cooperative In contrast to large plantations, the Small Organic Farmer Association cooperative, composed of 3,576 independent small producers, promotes sustainable small-scale agriculture around tea.
In the heart of the Kandy mountain ranges in Sri Lanka, these producers have small gardens with diversified crops: tea and spices that guarantee monetary income through fair trade, and fruits and vegetables for self-consumption.
With a democratic organization and strong solidarity, SOFA creates a dynamic that has positive impacts on an entire region.
Manufacturing Method: Each bud and the first two leaves are hand-picked. These green leaves are lightly heated to stop fermentation. The leaves are then hand-rolled. They are then dried in moderately warm air, sorted, and graded. They are mixed with the other ingredients before being packaged.
