Description

This 100% made in France organic herbal tea is ideal after a long day at work. This herbal tea is produced by the French cooperative Éthiquable.

Calming and soothing, this herbal tea is composed of several plants with relaxing properties that help you unwind and reduce stress. Hawthorn regulates blood pressure, improves sleep and relieves anxiety. Lavender promotes sleep and relieves headaches and muscle pain. Lemon verbena improves digestion and boosts the immune system thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Finally, spearmint relieves stomach ache, nausea, flatulence and bloating, while improving concentration and reducing stress.

Ingredients  
This infusion is made from 46% hawthorn (crataegus monogyna), 25% lavender (lavandula angustifolia), 15% lemon verbena (aloysia citrodora) and 14% spearmint (mentha spicata).

100% of the ingredients come from organic farming and a French fair trade network. 

What is Paysans d'ici? 
Paysans d'ici is the first supermarket brand in France to offer both organic and Fairtrade products. It was created in 2011 by Ethiquable, a French cooperative production company (SCOP) specialising in the sale of Fairtrade organic products.

Paysans d'ici products are the result of collaboration between three cooperatives: SICARAPPAM, SCOP-TI and Ethiquable. What sets them apart from other companies is that each belongs to its employees.

SICARAPPAM, founded in 1987, is an agricultural cooperative based in Auvergne in the Massif Central. It is made up of 49 producers and is responsible for growing and harvesting over 600 varieties of aromatic and medicinal plants, which are used in the teas and infusions in the Paysans d'ici range. SICARAPPAM is careful to comply with the rules governing the harvesting of wild plants, and is subject to frequent checks. Ecocert, an organic certification body, ensures that each picking site is identified on a map and that harvesting does not affect the stability of the natural habitat or the preservation of species in the harvesting area.

SCOP-TI is a cooperative and participative company based in Gémenos. It has 40 employees who package the teas and infusions.

Finally, Ethiquable is based in Fleurance and has 82 employees, who not only market the products in the Paysans d'ici range but also develop recipes with the help of SICARAPPAM.

With its Paysans d'ici range, Ethiquable aims to :

Preparation  
Heat water (95°), do not use boiling water (100°) otherwise your infusion will lose its aromas and benefits.
Pour 250 ml directly onto the tea bag. 
Leave to infuse for 6 minutes.
All that's left to do is enjoy! 

Packaging
The box contains 20 tea bags. The packaging is environmentally friendly. The tea box is 80% recyclable and the envelopes are also recyclable. What's more, the tea bags are unbleached and compostable (=biodegradable).
