Fair trade and respectful coffee

Direct sourcing is at the heart of our approach
Fair prices = valued coffee growers
The quality of the coffee is our main purchasing criterion, because we want to value the work of coffee growers. We pay them on average 75% more than the market price of coffee.
Fewer intermediaries, greater transparency
By reducing the supply chain to a minimum, the quality/price ratio is ideal, while enhancing the value of the coffee growers' work.
Full traceability
We work with Belco, an importer who works closely with local cooperatives and makes their work and commitments visible, so you know where your coffee comes from, how it was produced and what its history is.
The fundamentals of fair-trade coffee

Sustainable agriculture
Our producers own their land and live most of the time on site. This increases their desire to respect their culture and make the most of it.

About direct sourcing
Our coffees are all responsibly sourced, with the emphasis on a direct relationship between you and the coffee growers.
Working this way enables us to forge long-term relationships and build trust between coffee grower and roaster.
It’s the best way to guarantee excellent quality coffee over the long term, at a fair price, while at the same time recognizing the essential work of our producers on their farms.
We currently work directly with 12 farms (100% of our coffee range).
100% specialty coffee
Whether it’s during coffee selection, import or roasting, we control every step to ensure the best possible quality for the coffees we offer.
The ultimate quality control is cupping, a team effort that validates the quality of freshly roasted coffees, as well as the roasting profiles of future coffees.

Our supply chain

1. Productor
The coffee growers are at the heart of everything, cultivating their land and harvesting the coffee. We visit them at least once every 2 years.
2. Cooperative
Growers form cooperatives to finance and share the costly infrastructure needed to process coffee cherries.
3. Importer
We import the coffee via our partner source Belco. He works directly with the producers, guaranteeing them a fixed purchase price 75% higher than the stock market price.
4. Roaster
We roast our coffee by hand in Belgium every week. Each roast is unique to extract the best aromas from each coffee.
5. Consumer
You consume a quality product, you have access to transparent information on its production, and you contribute to a fairer society!
