The CLARIS Smart water filter eliminates limestone and other residues from the tap water. With filtered water in your Jura coffee machine, you will be able to prepare without alteration in taste and you will increase the lifespan of your coffee machine. This filter is suitable for all types of tap water, even the hardest ones. The granules effectively filter limescale, impurities and harmful substances from the water while preserving mineral salts and fluorides, which play an important role as flavour enhancers. The CLARIS Smart filter cartridge provides your Jura machine with an optimal water quality for a coffee with a perfect aroma. Caution, do not forget to adjust the water hardness when you install a filter for the first time or if you change the water source (consult your device's user manual).

How often do I have to replace the filter?

Claris SMART must be replaced after approximately 300 litres of water went through the system or after 2 months. In every case, your machine will show a message on the screen when the filter needs to be replaced, as explained in the next paragraph.

What's in the name

A CLARIS Smart filter cartridges is, as its name suggests, a smart filter for professional coffee machines. The cartridge sends information to the coffee machine thanks to the RFID technology. Once you install the filter, the machine detects it and switches to filtering mode. The biggest advantage of this system is that the machine automatically shows a message on its screen when the filter needs to be replaced !
